Amid the growing health crisis, the Tax Deadline has been extended to July 15. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announced the extension on Friday. The move comes as COVID-19 continues to grow rapidly.

Taxes are now due in July.

Over 21,000 cases have been reported across the United States. The virus continues to spread prompting businesses to close, schools to transition to online learning, commencement exercises postponed, and more. Taxpayers and businesses will not be penalized for filing after the April 15 deadline.
