We TV and Tamar Braxton are parting ways. The network released a statement Friday (July 31) saying “”Tamar Braxton has been an important part of our network family for more than a decade. As she focuses on her health and recovery at what is clearly a difficult and personal time, we will work with her representatives to honor her request to end all future work for the network.” The network plans to move forward with plans to airing the show “Get Ya Life,” on September 10. The series was pushed back after Tamar was hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt. In a recent post, Tamar fired back saying she did not receive notification from the network about severing ties.

Tamar spoke out for the first time since being hospitalized this week, posting on instagram saying “First and foremost, Thank you. Thank you to each and every individual who has prayed for me, thought of me, sent me their love and has showered me with their support. In this present moment, it is my only responsibility to be real with myself.’ Tamar goes on to talk about being overworked and used by reality tv. Shortly before her hospitalization, she posted about her frustrations with the network.

We continue to keep Tamar in our thoughts as she recovers.
