Join our sister station H.U.R. Voices SiriusXM 141 for a special presentation of “Profile of Courage: Shirley Chisholm” March 25th at 8pm.

Shirley Chisholm was a pioneer for African Americans and women in politics. She made history being the first African American woman of a major party to run for a presidential nomination in 1972. This paved the way for minorities like Barack Obama and others to be able to run in the presidential. Chisholm was also a teacher and an advocate for education.

To learn more about Shirley Chisholm, be sure to tune in to Profile of Courage Friday March 25th at 8PM ET on our sister station H.U.R. Voices SiriusXM 141. It’s another special presentation brought to you by the Howard University Radio Network.
